Supplier Quality Engineer
(Dip/2yrs exp/SQM/QA/Audits)
 
Job description:        
  • Responsible for the qualification processes for suppliers, including supplier evaluation, audit programs and supplier approval programs
  • Communicate with the various parties such as Procurement and Engineering departments, and Suppliers to improve quality standards and minimize costs
  • Engage in sourcing for new suppliers for evaluation with other departments
  • Investigate and resolve material quality issues
  • Constantly review quality processes and suggests improvements that can be implemented to reduce costs and improve performances
  • Compile and evaluate supplier quality performance metrics.
  • Generate reports to display supplier performances
 
Requirements:           
  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Supplier Quality management
  • Experience in quality audits is preferred
  • Experience in supplier development practices and improve existing principles and practices is preferred
  • Good analytical and communication skills
