Production Manager
(Manufacturing/4-5 yrs exp/Diploma/West)
 
Job description:
  • Overall in-charge of the production department
  • Job Scope includes liaising with Sales, Logistic and QC to meet customer requirement, Training and deployment of human resources as well as require at time to meet with customer
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Leads his production team towards achieving the company's goals: high productivity, production output, product quality, short manufacturing lead-time and low/competitive cost structure
  • Effective deployment of resources to achieve production output, productivity, product quality
  • Maximizes all production resources to enhance company's competitiveness in manufacturing lead-time and costing
  • Plans production schedule, machine loading, mold and machine maintenance, upkeeps of all relevant records and etc
  • Plans and manages key staff training plans and career development programs
  • Initiates and drives for continuous process improvement for all products and ensure process capability for new products / material
  • Maintains high level of security practices within the production facility and instil basic security awareness among employees
  • Develop new work procedure and work instruction pertaining to 5S requirement, maintenance of work procedure
  • Ensures that the manufacturing facility conforms to regulations regarding security practices, worker safety and industrial waste
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in any field, Logistic Management/Supply Chain Management will be preferred
  • At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Materials Management and 1 year in purchasing and production planning in manufacturing environment
  • Having customer service experience will be an advantage
  • Must possess good communication, analysis and computer software skills.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice period is highly preferred
