Logistics Assistant/Officer
(GCE O Level/1-2 yrs exp/Shipping)
 
Job description:
  • Ensure that orders are submitted, scheduled and arranged according to customers' requirements.
  • Liaise and coordinate with customers/freight forwarders/3rd parties to ensure that shipping schedules are manage accurately for smooth shipments.
  • Assist in preparation of supporting documents for accounts teams to process.
  • Preparation of billings/invoices and make sure payments on customer end are made on time.
  • Execute Letter of Credit and bank negotiation without discrepancies.
  • Updating of information such as demand, price, model etc. into systems.
  • Assist to ensure all data in the systems are up-to-date and keyed in an orderly manner.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE O Level/Nitec/Diploma in Shipping/Logistics/SCM or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in shipping/freight forwarding.
  • Possesses good/positive attitude, keen in learning to pick up new skills.
  • Able to work independently and adapt to fast pace environment.
  • Diploma holders without experience studied in the above courses are welcomed to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
